The Airline Pilot Training Program will provide all the necessary training for the qualifications required by the Airlines. Once graduates have turned 21 years old and obtained the minimum industry experience, they can obtain a Airline Transport Pilot Licence, the ticket to regional, domestic and international airline entry.
On satisfactory completion of the syllabus, students are flight checked by a CASA Approved Testing Officer for the Commercial Pilot Licence. Each flight check is approximately three hours in duration and is conducted in the Cessna 172RG (Commercial) and the Multi-engine Partenavia (Command instrument Rating).
The course fee provides for:
- All dual and solo flying
- Simulator Instrument Time
- BAK, Private and Commercial Theory
- Command Instrument Rating Theory
- Airline Transport Pilot Theory
- All Flight Instructor time appropriate to the flying syllabus
- All pre-flight and post-flight briefings
- Multi-engine training and endorsement
- General Flying Progress test excluding ATO costs (Domestic Students Only)
- Private Pilot Licence flight test excluding ATO costs
- Commercial Pilot Licence flight test excluding ATO costs
- Instrument Rating Test excluding ATO costs
The course fee is "all inclusive" and also covers the following training related items:
- Navigation Equipment
- Textbooks
- CASA Aeronautical Publications and Amendment Service
A wide selection of accommodation is available, including homestay or shared at various rates on request. Also available is airport transfers.
